Strangely Haunted

Sometimes, we move on in our life, without giving a damn to the treasure around us - only to regret later. That might even look like a genuine or even an ingenious idea to simply close your eyes and walk past, something you like, without knowing the fact that this 'missed' thing, is going to cling to one corner of your heart, and haunt you now and then. 

Life might be beautiful and satisfying. You might even reach the threshold, where you won't even feel like asking for anything more. But, still that tiny vaccuum, will remain so forever. 

I feel this haunted emotion is purely because of the guilt, that you never even put in a bit of an effort, to find whether that 'missed' something would work out or not. When you are haunted by that distant past memories, you only feel hopeless or helpless, 'cause you cannot open up your emotions, neither cannot pretend to surpass that. You will be even scared to share it with your bestie either, for the reason you might look silly. 

You may only want to say a 'Hi'. But, you know that you are never given a damn. You think so, 'cause you never tried to talk. It is this guiltiness of the present and the cruel memories, churn you and suffocate you. You got to live with it!!!
