Aarthi was feeling majestic to take her bike to college everyday. She felt independent and the annoyance of bus travel was no more. She couldn't wait for the week to end, as she wanted to visit her school friends and introduce her new shiny blue friend, to them all. She wanted to share all that happened over the week in the college, with them all.
Aarthi and her friends decided to meet up at Aarthi's place and her mom promised to prepare a feast, to treat her friends. They all liked her bike and took turns to go for a ride on it. They were excited to share stories about the college and of course about the boys too!!!
Aarthi was little hesitant to tell them all about Rakesh, but still she told them. She told them how upset she was initially, but how she was convinced by her mom, later. Her friends listened to her quietly and broke out laughing after she was done. They laughed so hard and started teasing her.
"Oh so glad Aarthi. Finally your best friend has joined your class to take care of you!", said a girl and winked at Aarthi.
"Hey come on, don't be silly", said Aarthi.
"Did you guys secretly plan to join same college and in particular same course"
"Hey that was just a coincidence"
"You said you never wanted to see him again. But you are blessed with the privilege of meeting him every day"
"That's not a blessing but a curse"
"Doesn't look like that. So what did he say?"
"I don't talk to him. Won't you guys know how much I hate him. Let's stop this non sense", sighed Aarthi.
But, friends are always friends. They won't take you seriously, even if you are damn serious. They are programmed that way. They always tease you, talk against you, troll you, make fun of you, disturb you, act perfectly in front of your parents and of course initiate and execute disasters in your life. Still, you can't live without these lovely creatures. They are the comforting hearts when it comes to confronting your sorrows. They are the angels that always keep your spirit high and never let you down.

Days rolled by and Aarthi felt settled in the college and never bothered about Rakesh. She earned another awesome gang of friends and her world got bigger. She enrolled in few computer courses and kept herself busy over the weekend. Already she was handful and she liked it to be busy round the clock.
Rakesh got quite familiar with the seniors and he could be seen frequently, chatting with them near the canteen. 'How come, such a person with serious attitude problem, make lot of friends?', wondered Aarthi. Many times, they both happened to face each other, but never had they shared a smile.
The feverish phase of semester exams arrived and it was the first nervous encounter for Aarthi. She put in her maximum efforts and gave her exams well. She felt contented about her performance and couldn't wait for the results. Her short vacation post semester flew in a wink and she came back to the college afresh for the next semester. She was hoping for the bestest grades and a little tensed too, about the result. Exam results were the dreadful times of student's life. For some, it's a tearful moment either celebrating success or regretting failure. For some, the heart races and rumbles, but for some it keeps quite. For some, the best is insufficient, but for some, the little is handful. For some, it's a moaning occasion, but for some it's just a passing cloud. But for all, it would be a day of tightly packed emotions.
