Love Haunted - Part 19

Love blossomed, bloomed and flourished in their hearts. It was so pure and self-less. Their soul connection established and there was an overflowing compatibility in their relationship. Raj would often get busier with his work, especially with his new venture. But, that never turned off Priya. She understood and appreciated his efforts, for their better future. Even though, they happen to meet only twice or thrice a week, their fondness grew multifolds. Priya would talk more and more and Raj would fall in love with her more and more! Sometimes, Priya would arrive at the designated spot (of course, by the waters!), much before their meeting time, only to sit down and wait for him. It was a pure bliss for her. Waiting for him, thinking about him, dreaming about their future and recollecting the past were so addictive to her. Raj had seen her quite a few times, talking or laughing to herself, sitting all alone. He had even made fun of her and she has been pseudo angry with him too. But, she never got out of her addiction.

After few months, a big shock awaited Priya. Priya's parents started looking out for groom and decided to get her married to a smarty, techy geek. Priya was not sure how to put across her love affair with Raj, to her parents. Also, she was well aware that Raj wouldn't be able to get married, until his new business was established, up and running. So, she did not wanted to trouble Raj and neither open up about him. She tried her best stunts to convince her parents that she wasn't interested in getting married. But, her lame reasons didn't stop them.

Priya was outrageous and she even stopped talking with her mom. But, nothing changed her parents and they were not ready to entertain her melodrama. They believed that it is a common scenario in every house and gradually Priya would get yielded. Priya tried to tackle these all herself. But, she failed miserably. She did not wanted to trouble Raj, but she had no other option either. It was now clear that unless and until Raj steps in, nothing would get sorted and her life might get messed up. So, she met him and told all that's been happening in her household. Raj stayed calm, even after listening to her agony. This triggered Priya and she was at her maximum degree of anger and not even a trace of patience could be found in her. Raj convinced her, consoled her and cuddled her. After she was sort of OK, Raj assured to sort out the big trouble.
