Few days later, Priya's parents agreed to her wish and decided to plan her wedding with Raj. Could there be any big gift, that life can give you, more than a holy matrimony with your beloved? Priya felt just the same. She couldn't thank her parents and almighty enough. She turned out to be much sweeter than ever before to her parents. It's not that they yielded to her wish, but she will be getting married and leave them, sometime soon. It's a typical emotion that every girl goes through. The thought of getting married, leaving home and moving to in-laws’ place is always had been an emotional challenge. Even though Raj is nobody new to Priya, she was still finding it hard to make peace with the traditional formalities and emotional strains.
One evening, Priya's father invited Raj and his father, to treat them with the wedding news. Raj and his father were more than happy. Raj couldn't comprehend his joy. The other day, he spoke so much. But, now he is lost for words. Priya looked gorgeous and graceful in red saree. His mind kept teasing him that he is going to own this pretty babe for lifetime. His heart kept thudding faster due to happiness overflow. His eyes resisted to move away from Priya. He admired her, head to toe. At times, he gasped for breath too. He wished he could elope with this beauty to some distant land, right now.
After some time, Raj realised that he should get into the conversation and be responsible. He explained about his new venture and requested a minimum of 8 to 10 months, to get married. He assured that he would finish with his expansions and process streamlining, so that he can be at peace by the time he gets married. Also, he frankly admitted that he wanted to spend more time with Priya post marriage, rather than worrying much about the business. Everybody agreed and Priya blushed.
As days rolled by, the degree of intimacy between Raj and Priya shot up. In Spite of his busy schedules, Raj always made time to flirt with Priya. The girl who so devoted to her profession, could be often found daydreaming. At times, she would laugh and talk to herself, which invited weird looks from others. Every moment in their lives was tagged with happiness!
